OVERVIEW

This client had a great idea for a business, a line of eco products with 5 SKUs. They had a contract manufacturer lined up and they live 3 hours outside of a major capital city. The owner is a true entrepreneur and is great at product development and marketing and does not want to spend their valuable time picking and packing orders, when we can do it for less money. They would rather work ON their business than IN it. This eco business is a ‘side hustle’ as the owner still works a full time day job as they save money for the deposit to buy a house.

WHY CHOOSE A 3PL

There are three strong reasons why choosing a 3PL was the right choice for this client.

  1. Living 3 hours outside of a major capital city slows down the delivery of their parcels and increases shipping costs.
  2. The owners skill set leans more towards product development and marketing than the daily packing of orders.
  3. They simply don’t have the time to pick and pack the orders for their new business while keeping a full time day job. It would delay the delivery of their parcels an extra day outside of their regular delays due to his location because he would only be able to pack his orders at night and would have trouble getting them to the post office, especially if they ran a successful promotion and received 5x the number of orders in a day.

It is important to an eco brand that their parcels are packed in the most eco friendly way possible. There are no plastic satchels or bubble wrap in the Eco Pick Pack warehouse. We provide recyclable and compostable options and design a packing solution specific to each clients needs.

As a start up, this brand has no idea on order volume and was rejected by every major 3PL service they approached.

Eco Pick Pack have no order minimums for the first 3 months on site. After that, a reasonable order minimum will be negotiated based on the amount of storage space used in our facility to allow start ups to actually start.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Pick packing orders for customers and putting together a starter pack in a gift box. When this client is ready for stockists, we are ready to process their B2B orders, but for now, they are focusing on selling direct to the public only.
