OVERVIEW

Nuebar is an Australian Shampoo Bar company. It was founded by Katie Hennah and Kerry Wood. Their products first entered our warehouse as one of the brands stocked at Shop Naturally, who also owns Eco Pick Pack. Taking on Nuebar as a 3PL was something we never intended to do, but we did it as a favour to our favourite brand at Shop Naturally (our own e-commerce business) and it sparked the business that is now Eco Pick Pack.

WHY CHOOSE A 3PL

Nuebar founders, Katie & Kerry had created an award winning brand in Nuebar, but life had plans for them to move to New Zealand in a short time frame. To keep the business active in the place where it started, Australia, Katie & Kerry decided that while they would move to New Zealand, the business would stay in Australia and be run remotely by a 3PL and a contract manufacturer. But who?

WHY CHOOSE ECO PICK PACK

Nuebar founders chose Eco Pick Pack as their 3PL because they couldn’t find another 3PL that would take on their volume or provide a plastic free service. Being a 100% plastic free brand, it was important to choose a company who shared the same ethics.

Nuebar also chose Eco Pick Pack because of the trust built from the business relationship with the e-commerce business owned by Eco Pick Pack and from seeing the pick pack in action on a warehouse tour 2 years prior when they got their brand on the shelves at Shop Naturally. It was a big leap to hand their brand over to a 3PL that had never had an external client but it paid off.

SERVICES PROVIDED

Nuebar made use of our B2C services and our B2B services as they not only sold direct to the public, but also had a range of stockists from small bricks and mortar stores to large e-commerce clients. Nuebars products came to us unboxed and we also did their packaging and pack assembly on site.

Nuebar sold their business in 2022 and the new owners are not using the services of Eco Pick Pack.
